The University of Foggia (UNIFG), founded in 1999, is a young and dynamic higher educational institution in the Apulia Region (South of Italy).

Its educational offer and didactics align with the territorial requirements through research projects, internationalization, orientation, cultural events, and promotion of university activities.

The UniFg is structured in over 8 Departments, with three-year degree courses, specialist degrees, Master’s degree courses, and an Interdepartmental Research centre. The many Master’s courses, research doctorates, and specialist schools have contributed to turning the University of Foggia into a cultural centre where young people can acquire professional training that meets the needs expressed by society and the world of work.

The Department of Economics develops educational offerings focused on issues of governance of economic and business phenomena, integrated with a view to modern and responsible organization of markets, institutions and society, including through the encouragement of innovative national and international research programs.
It is also a leading institution in agricultural economics, food R&I, and health economics. Academic and professional experience have been supported and reinforced by participation in several regional, national, and EU-funded projects.

Funded by the European Union. Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or the National Agency (NA). Neither the European Union nor the NA can be held responsible for them.
