Area Nuova is an independent and non-partisan student association that has been actively serving the University of Foggia for over two decades. Since its foundation, the association has distinguished itself through its commitment to strengthening the University’s institutional development and autonomy, while consistently advocating for the interests and rights of students.

The core mission of Area Nuova is to provide effective student representation and ensure that students’ voices are heard at every level of university governance. The association acts as a vital link between students, faculty members, and university authorities, facilitating constructive dialogue and helping to address academic and administrative issues that impact student life.

Area Nuova operates across all departments of the University of Foggia, offering guidance and support to students throughout their academic journey. The association is also actively involved in the University’s governing bodies, where it contributes to decision-making processes and promotes initiatives aimed at improving the overall educational experience.

Within the Department of Economics, Area Nuova’s representatives have worked extensively over the years to address teaching-related challenges and support departmental bodies in implementing solutions that safeguard students’ rights and enhance the quality of education.

In addition to its representative role, Area Nuova provides a wide range of services and opportunities designed to enrich student life. These include orientation activities for first-year students, ongoing academic support through social media channels and dedicated WhatsApp groups, educational seminars, workshops, study trips, and both cultural and recreational events. The association also offers a Discount Card program, allowing members to benefit from special discounts at partner businesses and local establishments.

Through its long-standing dedication to student advocacy, academic excellence, and community engagement, Area Nuova continues to be a leading student organization and a trusted representative of the student community at the University of Foggia.
