The University of Foggia (UNIFG), responsible for WP5 of the SAMExperience project, coordinates Communication, Exploitation, and Dissemination of the project results. It is essential to distinguish between these three aspects:
- Communication: Strategic measures to promote the project and its research outputs to various audiences, including the media and the public, potentially fostering a two-way interaction.
- Exploitation: The use of research outputs in further activities beyond the project, such as product development, service provision, or standardization efforts.
- Dissemination: The public disclosure of research results through appropriate means, including scientific publications.
Producing scientific papers and participating in conferences are key to exploiting European project results, advancing science, and fostering international cooperation. These efforts benefit industries and research institutions, contributing to the commercialization of scientific outcomes. Publishing within European projects is crucial for several reasons:
- Visibility and Recognition: Peer-reviewed publications enhance the project’s visibility and establish a solid reputation.
- Knowledge Sharing: Papers disseminate knowledge and innovative methods, advancing science and technology.
- Collaboration and Networking: Presenting at conferences encourages networking and potential future collaborations.
- Funding and Sustainability: Documented results through publications can attract further funding.
- Social Impact: Publications may influence policies and practices, supporting solutions for current issues and advancing the goals of Erasmus Plus European Projects.
After the first year of SAMExperience activities, two main scientific results have been achieved:
- Presentation at the International Workshop HRM Congress of the working paper entitled “ALLIANCE MANAGER´S COMPETENCES FOR THE FUTURE: NEW FORMS OF WORK” – September 19th-20th 2024 in Seville, Spain (by MUE partner);
- Presentation at the SIM Conference 2024 “Brands and Purpose in a changing era” of the working paper entitled “DEVELOPING CAPABILITIES FOR SUSTAINABILITY ALLIANCES: EVIDENCE FROM ITALIAN SMEs” – October 17th-19th 2024 in Milan, Italy (by UNIFG partner).
UNIFG’s dissemination team, in collaboration with professors from the University of Brescia, explored dynamic capabilities for sustainability alliances based on WP2 empirical analysis of nine Italian SMEs. This study, accepted for the XXI SIM conference, highlights the challenges SMEs face in sustainability due to limited resources but also their flexibility, which can promote innovation.
Final results will be shared at the upcoming conferences, so stay tuned for further updates!
