The SAMExperience (Sustainable Alliance Manager: Learning Experience towards Collaborative Skills with Green Consciousness) project, co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ KA220-HED programme, is approaching its successful conclusion with the upcoming Final Conference, which will take place on 23–24 September 2026 in Bilbao, Spain. The event will bring together project partners, researchers, academics, business representatives, and sustainability professionals from across Europe to present the project’s achievements and discuss the future of sustainable alliance management.
Since its launch, SAMExperience has focused on bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical competencies by equipping future professionals with the collaborative, strategic, and sustainability-oriented skills required to build and manage successful alliances. Throughout the project, partners have developed innovative learning methodologies, digital resources, and competency assessment tools designed to strengthen cooperation, particularly within European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The Final Conference will provide an opportunity to showcase the project’s key outcomes while fostering dialogue among experts representing the international consortium. The programme will feature presentations delivered by distinguished speakers from participating partner institutions, including Olatz Diego Marcos, assoc. prof. Kristina Puleikienė, Anna Mercik, Nerea Sanchez, Sebastian Stefaniga, and Anna Romagno. Their presentations will explore topics related to sustainable alliance management, innovation in higher education, collaborative learning, digital transformation, and sustainability-driven business development.
The conference will also encourage networking between academia, industry, and policymakers, promoting the exchange of good practices and strengthening international cooperation in preparing future professionals for increasingly collaborative and sustainable economic environments.
Lithuania Business College (LBC) will actively contribute to the Final Conference through the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kristina Puleikienė, the project’s researcher at LBC. Representing the institution, she will deliver a conference presentation highlighting the College’s contribution to the SAMExperience project, sharing insights into the development of innovative educational approaches and the practical implementation of sustainable alliance management within higher education.
Her participation reflects Lithuania Business College’s ongoing commitment to international collaboration, applied research, and the promotion of sustainability-oriented education through European partnership projects.
As the SAMExperience project reaches its final milestone, the conference in Bilbao will celebrate the collaborative achievements of the international consortium while laying the foundations for future initiatives in sustainable alliance management. The event will demonstrate how research, digital innovation, and cross-border cooperation can create lasting impact for higher education institutions, businesses, and society.
The knowledge, tools, and methodologies developed throughout the project will continue supporting learners, educators, and professionals beyond the project’s lifetime, contributing to stronger European collaboration and more sustainable organisational practices.
